Year after year, thousands of people gather at Saint Charbel Parish, Ottawa, to celebrate the Annual Family Gathering Around the Virgin Mary, particularly as it marks the day of the Virgin Mary's Assumption into Heaven. Many volunteers come together to offer the community a taste of the Maronite heritage along with delicious Lebanese food.
